Job summary

Silver Shield Inc. is seeking dedicated Armed Security Officers to join our team in the Fort Worth, Arlington and Denton area.

The on-call officer will maintain a safe environment for clients, employees, and visitors, using surveillance skills and knowledge of security procedures. Requirements include a high school diploma, 2–3 years of armed security experience, a valid driver license with vehicle, background check, drug screening, and an active Level III guard card.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience as an Armed Officer or in a similar role preferred.
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle to post in.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Active Level III guard card.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure safety and security of the premises.
• Foot patrol and walking up and down stairs.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors in emergencies.
• Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily records.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary.

Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm NO WEEKENDS

This position requires strong surveillance skills, conflict management abilities, and knowledge of law enforcement procedures.

Armed Security Officers positions Monday through Friday throughout the Fort Worth, Arlington and Denton area.

• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.

Skills:

• Strong surveillance skills to effectively monitor premises.
• Excellent conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of law enforcement procedures, including arrest techniques and legal rights.
• CPR certification and first aid training to provide immediate medical assistance if needed.
