Absolute International Security is seeking an Armed Security Guard - Driving for Norwalk, CA. The role involves patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access, reporting incidents, and maintaining a professional security presence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 26 years old for driving positions.
• Able to pass background check, drug screening, and additional client requirements.
• Able to pass MVR driving requirements for driving positions.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
• Outdoor work in varied weather conditions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to company grooming and uniform standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations, unsafe behavior, or criminal activity
• Perform armed driving patrols of the assigned area, including abandoned buildings & storage areas
• Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles
• Control access points and maintain visitor/vendor logs
• Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or policy violations
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation
• Communicate effectively over radio, phone, or in person with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and disturbances
• Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as required
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times
• Maintain authorized less-than-lethal equipment in compliance with company standards
• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all
• Ability to drive a company patrol vehicle in a safe and defensive manner
• Follow post orders, site protocols, and all relevant company procedures

• Day Shift (06:00 - 14:30)


• Swing Shift (14:00 - 22:30)

Job Overview
