Job summary

Marksman Security is hiring licensed CA security officers for an armed role at a food distribution warehouse. The position features a 3-shift schedule, including Wed through Sun from 11pm to 7am, with the candidate responsible for patrols, checkpoints, CCTV, and gatehouse operations.

Qualifications include a CA Armed Valid Security License, a CA Driver’s License, and at least one year of security experience. Officers must supply their own firearm, duty belt, and Level 3 holster.

• One year of security experience preferred.
• CA Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
• Other duties to be determined by operations.

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Minimum of one year of security experience
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time
