Job summary

Sentry Force Security is seeking professional and dependable Armed Security Officers to join our Transit Division. Officers will provide security services at assigned transit facilities and locations throughout the service area.

Qualifications include a Virginia DCJS Armed Security Officer registration/license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced public environment.

Qualifications

• Virginia DCJS Armed Security Officer registration/license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior security, military, law enforcement, or related experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully complete required background screening and pre-employment requirements.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
• Ability to remain alert and respond appropriately in a fast-paced public environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
