Sentry Force Security is seeking qualified, Virginia DCJS-licensed Armed Security Officers to support multiple security operations throughout the Hampton Roads region. Qualifications

• Virginia DCJS Armed Security Officer License required.
• 18+ years of age minimum.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Background investigations and pre-employment screening required.
• Drug screening required.
• Reliable transportation to duty locations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong observation and situational-awareness skills.
• Ability to document incidents and activities accurately.
• Ability to follow post orders and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional security presence and deter unauthorized activity.
• Perform access control, patrols, and routine post inspections.
• Monitor ingress and egress per post orders.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and vehicles when required.
• Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and other security technology.
• Maintain situational awareness and identify threats.
• Respond to security incidents, alarms, disturbances, and emergencies.
• Prepare Daily Activity Reports and incident reports.
• Enforce post orders, SOPs, and client security protocols.
• Communicate with clients, employees, visitors, law enforcement, and emergency personnel.
• Support evacuation and life-safety procedures as directed.
• Safeguard client property, personnel, assets, and information.
• Maintain issued equipment and credentials; maintain confidentiality.
