Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Guard Patrol for a part-time role in Dallas, TX. You will patrol manufacturing and industrial locations, deter unauthorized activity, and respond to incidents while providing excellent customer service and clear communication.

Qualifications

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, shipping and receiving locations, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
