Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Armed Security Guard in Columbia, SC to protect client sites across multiple industries. The role offers a flexible schedule on a part-time basis with an emphasis on high standards of professionalism and integrity in all security operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Armed Guard Card/License required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background investigation as part of employment process.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and carry out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the location and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or hazards.
• Maintain reports and documentation related to patrols and daily activities.
