Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency responses in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional manner, coordinating with facility personnel and responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and report suspicious activity.
• Prepare clear incident reports and maintain documentation related to patrols and incidents.
