Job summary

GLOBAL OPS is seeking experienced Armed Security Agents to support client locations in Long Island, Nassau County. This is a visible, active role requiring alertness, sound judgment, and professional conduct.

Approximately 60-70% of shifts are outdoors with foot patrols, access control, and incident response. Multiple assignments across Greenvale, Roslyn Heights, Great Neck, Cedarhurst, and Woodmere are available based on needs.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid New York State Armed Security License.
• Must possess either an unrestricted NY pistol permit or NYS Yellow Carry Card.
• Ability to work outdoor shifts (long Island areas) in all weather.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Successful completion of required screenings and pre-employment training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive foot patrols to maintain a safe environment.
• Maintain a highly visible security presence.
• Monitor and control access to client properties.
• Identify, assess, and respond to suspicious activity.
• Enforce site policies and procedures and respond to alarms/incidents.

What You'll Do

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work assignments in Long Island (Greenvale, Roslyn Heights, Great Neck, Cedarhurst, and Woodmere).
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions.
• Excellent observation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Professional appearance with a strong customer service mindset.
• Proven reliability and strong work ethic.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Compensation

• $26.50 - 31.00 per hour.
• $28.50 - $33.00 per hour for special events.
