As a Armed Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Lancaster, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility personnel by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility facilities, substations, operations areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted locations, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, unauthorized entry attempts, and security‑related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and maintain proficiency with assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
