As an Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government facilities, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and uphold our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused culture with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at government facilities by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, public access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for visitors, vendors, and/or personnel in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
