Hiring Bonus: $2,000 for candidates with an active Armed NCPPSB guard card.

Position Details

We are hiring full-time Armed Security Guards in Tillery, NC. The role involves patrolling correctional facilities and ensuring security both inside and outside the premises. Interaction with inmates is not part of this role.

• Pay rate: $21.00 per hour
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Driver's License
• Must be able to certify at the range to obtain an armed NCPPSB guard card
• Shifts: 12 hours, 6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am

*Preferred experience in armed security, corrections, military, or law enforcement. We foster a welcoming team environment and offer growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by implementing safety and security procedures, site policies, and emergency responses
• Respond calmly and effectively to incidents and critical situations
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, with environments varying by site

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Subject to background checks and drug screening in accordance with laws
• Participate in security/safety training programs
• State and local licensing requirements may apply

Note: A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.
