Job summary

MAD Security Services, Inc. is seeking Armed Security Guards to deter theft and report suspicious activity across assigned sites in California. You will patrol on foot, check doors and hazards, and respond according to post orders.

Applicants must have a valid California Guard Certificate and an Exposed Firearm Permit, plus 32 hours of BSIS training. Part-time shifts available; $20 per hour with benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• California Guard Certificate required.
• Exposed Firearm Permit required.
• BSIS training: 32 hours + 8 hours of Arrest/WMD training.

Responsibilities

• Deter theft and observe/report suspicious activity on patrol.
• Check for unsafe conditions, unlocked doors, violations, vandalism.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel and emergency services.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance in uniform.
• Enforce client and company policies and post orders.

MAD Security Services, Inc. is seeking new team members to join our family. As an Armed Security Guard with our company, you will:

• Act strictly as a deterrent to help prevent theft. The goal is to observe and report.
• Observe and report suspicious criminal activity as appropriate for the circumstances or as required by the post orders at assigned site while patrolling on foot.
• Check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, vandalism and any unauthorized persons.
• Communicate in a manner that is open, honest and responsive in all situations while following emergency response procedures.
• Communicate effectively with individuals at the job sites and emergency personnel in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance while in a complete and clean company uniform.
• Execute post orders including enforcement of client and company policies, rules and regulations effectively.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License or California Identification Card
• California Guard Certificate
• Exposed Firearm Permit (Caliber 38, 357, 9mm, or 40 mm preferred)
• 32 hours of Security Training with BSIS8 hours of Powers of Arrest/Weapons of Mass Destruction Training

Pay rate: $20/hour
