Job summary

MAD Security Services is seeking unarmed Security Officers to join our team in California. You will patrol on foot, observe and report suspicious activity, check for hazards, and enforce client and company policies while maintaining a neat uniform and professional demeanor.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, 1–2 years of related security experience, a valid CA ID or driver's license, and mandatory security training including BSIS 32 hours and 8 hours of Powers of Arrest/WMD.

Qualifications

• California Guard Certificate and BSIS 32 hours required.
• 8 hours of Powers of Arrest/WMD training required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report suspicious activity as directed.
• Check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, vandalism and unauthorized persons.
• Communicate openly and professionally in all situations and follow emergency procedures.
• Coordinate with job-site staff and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance in company uniform.
• Enforce client and company policies and post orders effectively.

MAD Security Services is seeking new Unarmed Security Officers to join our team! As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will:

• Observe and report suspicious criminal activity as appropriate for the circumstances or as required by the post orders at the assigned site while patrolling on foot.
• Check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, vandalism, and any unauthorized persons.
• Communicate in a manner that is open, honest and responsive in all situations while following emergency response procedures.
• Communicate effectively with individuals at the job sites and emergency personnel in a friendly and professional manner.
• Responsible for maintaining a neat and professional appearance while in a complete and clean company uniform.
• Executes his or her post orders including enforcement of client and company policies, rules, and regulations effectively.

Requirements

The Security Officer is to perform this job successfully and satisfactorily and must have the knowledge and skills and the following:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• One to two years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid Driver's License or Valid California Identification Card
• California Guard Certificate
• 32 hours of Security Training with BSIS
• 8 hours of Powers of Arrest/Weapons of Mass Destruction Training
