Job summary

IPS Security is seeking an Armed Security Guard to ensure the safety of customers, employees, and property across multiple locations in California. You will patrol premises, monitor surveillance, enforce policies, deter theft, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Applicants must have an ACTIVE security license and an ACTIVE armed security license, must provide a firearm (9mm, .40, .45), and must have OPEN AVAILABILITY and be willing to travel to multiple locations. Payrate is $24-28/hr.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior security guard or related field experience preferred.
• Stand for long periods and walk long distances.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have ACTIVE security license and ACTIVE armed security license.
• Must provide your own firearm (9mm, .40, .45).
• Open availability and willingness to travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the store premises to ensure safety of customers, employees, and property.
• Monitor surveillance footage and respond to security incidents.
• Enforce store policies including theft prevention and loss prevention.
• Assist with investigations of thefts and other incidents.
• Document and report security-related incidents.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Job Description The Armed Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of customers, employees, and property. This includes patrolling the store premises, monitoring surveillance footage, and responding to any security-related incidents or emergencies. The Armed Security Guard will also be responsible for enforcing store policies and procedures, as well as helping to prevent theft and other criminal activity.

Payrate: $24-28/hr
