Job summary

Allied Universal in Maury, NC seeks an Armed Security Flex Officer to safeguard clients across Healthcare, Education and Finance sectors. You will use the shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts, building local site experience while remaining flexible to irregular hours and assignments.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years’ verifiable experience), 21+ with a valid license, and the ability to obtain an armed guard card.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be 18+ years old (21+ if armed).
• Ability to operate radio/console monitors and communicate clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially with the public.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in a vehicle.
• Monitor for unusual conditions and security concerns.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire as needed.
• Control access and monitor entrances/exits.
• Prepare incident and accident reports with detail.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site orders.
