Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Field Supervisor - Armed in Los Angeles County, CA to oversee security operations and lead frontline officers. You will enforce site policies, respond to incidents, and coordinate patrols to ensure client safety.

The role emphasizes strong customer service and supervision within a dynamic environment. Minimum requirements include 2 years of supervisory security experience (or military background), a valid Guard Card and Firearm Permit, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Possess effective written and oral communication skills and good interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of client personnel and the general public in a professional manner.
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative wireless technology for personnel management and fulfilling security duties.
• Possess the skills to handle crisis situations at client sites in a calm and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, enforce site-specific policies, and if appropriate emergency response.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter. Work environment and conditions may vary by client site.
• Assure officers receive appropriate training in developing both their technical and professional skills; also provide performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, performance evaluations, recognition, etc.).
• Utilize scheduling software to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity, Training Detail reports, etc.) that require interpretation and action for effective management.
• Listen to and act upon employee grievances with help from appropriate branch or region HR support.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
