Job summary

Blue Cross of Idaho is seeking an experienced Armed Security Officer to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, facilities, and assets. This role blends corporate security with executive protection, requiring discretion, judgment, confidentiality, and situational awareness.

You will provide armed security coverage, respond to incidents, conduct investigations, and support executive protection, travel planning, and risk assessments for off-site events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of executive protection, law enforcement, or military security experience.
• Required certifications including CPR and First Aid.
• Idaho Concealed Weapons Permit and Idaho Driver's License or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Monitor employees, visitors, facilities, and assets to maintain safety.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and disturbances.
• Conduct investigations and prepare timely reports.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and public safety agencies.
• Provide armed escort services for executives and travel risk briefings.
