Job summary

Ideal candidates have state certifications, a valid driver's license, a clean background, and the ability to work all shifts including days, afternoons, and overnights. Must be prepared to work in an armed capacity.

Qualifications

• Must have 20/40/48 hour state certification.
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for security and public safety.
• Proficient in report writing and strong observation skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma required; further education in security preferred.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must have your PERC Card.

Responsibilities

• Regularly patrol assigned areas to deter and detect unauthorized activity.
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, responding to any suspicious behavior or security breaches.
• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all doors, windows, and access points are secure.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or requests for assistance, including medical incidents, disturbances, or accidents.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports on security incidents, disturbances, and other notable activities.
• Offer exceptional customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries, directions, and other needs.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
• Adhere to company policies, state and federal regulations, and security standards to ensure compliance.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance security knowledge, emergency response, and legal protocols.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
• Must be prepared to work in an armed capacity.
