Job summary

Choctaw Casinos & Resorts is seeking a Security Officer for overnight shifts in Oklahoma. Responsible for protecting property, providing lifesaving aid, and maintaining professional conduct during high-stress situations.

You will patrol, log data, and enforce department policies while upholding strict confidentiality. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, and a current armed security license with the ability to qualify annually.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Must receive “Capable” results from Department issued MMPI.
• Must be physically and mentally fit to perform all essential functions of a Security Officer and pass a fitness test.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to react calmly and quickly in emergencies.
• Able to qualify yearly with department firearms.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an armed security license in Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Access, retrieve, and log computerized data.
• Investigate unusual, suspicious, or potentially dangerous situations.
• Assist with emergency situations such as active shooter, medical, fire, severe weather, etc.
• Conduct regular patrols of internal and external property.
• Maintain knowledge of Choctaw Nation regulations and procedures and confidentiality.
• Operate Department vehicles in compliance with laws.
• Operate firefighting equipment, short-wave radio, and administer CPR/first aid.
• Write incident reports and submit to Security Supervisor.
• Refer dangerous situations to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
