Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Patrol Driver in Clinton, NC. You will protect clients across industries, drive to patrol locations, and maintain a visible security presence while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and individuals at a government corrections location by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility grounds, buildings, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and handle equipment in accordance with laws, training, and site procedures.
