Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or a college degree.
• 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required for Allied Universal driver policy.
• Background check and drug screen as part of employment.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-value locations; verify credentials and assist with screening.
• Prepare reports and communicate hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to relevant personnel.
