Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Driver for a part-time position in Chandler, AZ. You will patrol and monitor a financial institution location, respond to incidents, and provide customer service while adhering to site policies.

The role requires an armed guard license, 21+ years of age, and a background check. Schedule includes Sat/Sun night shifts with a $25.00/hour pay rate, offering flexible opportunities through our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• 1+ years of armed security/military/security experience.
• Armed guard card/license required.
• High school diploma or GED required by client.
• Background check and drug screen in accordance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations with calm, documented observations.

• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and help to control entry and exit activity involving employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries.
• Support cash-handling and high-value asset protection protocols by maintaining a visible presence, observing daily operations, and reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Have 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
