Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer Patrol Driver in Clinton, NC to safeguard government facilities and support client operations. You will patrol, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns with professionalism, while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, an armed guard card preferred, and the ability to work a flexible schedule with day and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Armed guard license preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Participate in security training programs.
• Licensing requirements as per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and individuals at a government corrections location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility grounds, buildings, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and handle authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, and site procedures.
