Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an armed Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX to protect clients across aerospace/defense sectors. Responsibilities include patrolling, access control, incident response, and exceptional customer service in a demanding, safety-focused environment.

The role requires a valid DoD Secret clearance, Level III Armed Certification in Texas, and a clean background. The schedule is daytime and weekend shifts, with strong emphasis on integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 3 years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner with appropriate contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned areas, including buildings and parking areas, and report unusual activity.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and other required documentation related to patrols and daily activities.
