Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver Dispatch. This role offers fixed shifts and the chance to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

The position emphasizes customer service, armed patrols of utility facilities, access control, and incident reporting. Training, advancement opportunities, and a benefits program are available.

Qualifications

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility facilities, substations, offices, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to restricted utility infrastructure, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain required logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow site-specific response protocols.
• Complete accurate reports on patrols, incidents, access-control activities, and observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
