Job summary

Premier Security Solutions in Livingston County, Michigan, is seeking an Armed - School / Other Security Officer (Current/Retired Law Enforcement) to safeguard students and staff on educational sites. The role is on-site, requires CPL or police ID, valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass firearms qualifications.

You will monitor premises, respond to incidents, coordinate with site teams via radio, and file detailed reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CPL or Active/Retired Police ID and documentation required.
• Valid Driver’s License and documentation required.
• Must complete continued training/education classes provided by Premier Security Solutions.
• Be able to pass annual firearms qualifications with duty weapon.
• Law enforcement, corrections, or military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and secure premises and protect people and assets.
• Respond quickly to incidents and coordinate with authorities as needed.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and enforce site rules.
• Communicate with site team using assigned radios.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and assist safety procedures.
