Job summary

Cascadia Global Security is seeking an Armed School Security Officer in Spring, TX to safeguard students and staff during daytime hours. The role includes access control, incident reporting, and campus patrols in a school environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Control access and monitor security for the school site.
• Investigate and report safety conditions endangering clients and public safety.
• Patrols may be conducted on foot or in company vehicles when appropriate.
• Enforce campus rules and maintain a safe, professional environment.

About the position:

• Position: Armed School Security Officer


• Location: Spring, TX 77386


• Employment Type: Full-Time


• Pay: $19per hour


• Shift times: Monday-Friday 0600-1100 & 1300-1800


• Daily pay options are available. Payout as soon as the next day!

This position involves working in a school environment; candidates will be required to undergo additional screenings, training, and background checks.

SecurityResponsibilities:

• Access Control


• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety


• Patrols areassigned in a company-marked vehicle, provided the candidate's driving history isexemplary. Free of tickets, accidents, or marks against your driver's license.
  
  
  
  • Patrols may be assigned on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activities at client facilities
  
  
  
  


• Theft and vandalism deterrence


• Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment


• Enforce campus rules and regulations


• Safeguarding the school grounds from suspicious people and activity


• Patrol and supervise the school campus


• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete


• Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained while in uniform


• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications and skills:

• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience


• Ability to pass a criminal background check


• Must be comfortable working with children and teenagers


• Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies


• Minimum 21 years of age

Pay and Benefits:

• Salary: $19per hour


• 50% employer-paid medical/dental/vision/ and free life insurance for full-time employees is available after the first 60 days.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)


• Armed Security: 1year (Required)


• Previous LEO or Military experience (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)


• Level 3 (Armed) Security License (Required)


• CPR Training (Preferred)
