Job summary

Allied Universal in Temple, TX is seeking a Security Officer Armed Route Driver. This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification.

You will patrol a retail location, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence. Day-to-day duties include responding to incidents, documenting patrols, and coordinating with site leadership and law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a retail location.
• Conduct armed patrols of store, parking areas, and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Respond calmly to incidents and medical emergencies following site procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence and monitor access points and employee spaces.
• Document incidents and communicate information to site leadership and law enforcement.
