Job summary

Protos Security is seeking a Uniformed Armed Security Officer for California retail locations. You will conduct visible patrols, enforce policies, and detain when necessary, in compliance with BSIS and state law. Prior military or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Requires a California Guard Card, BSIS Firearm Permit, and the ability to stand and respond quickly in active retail settings. This position focuses on uniformed presence with no plainclothes duties.

Qualifications

• Must have strong observational, documentation, and communication skills.
• BSIS Firearm Permit and California Guard Card are required.
• Prior military, law enforcement, or security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly visible, uniformed foot patrols to deter theft.
• Carry BSIS-approved firearm and follow safety protocols.
• Detain suspects per policy and document incidents thoroughly.
• Collaborate with store management, law enforcement, and internal security teams.
