Qualifications

• Military or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass BSIS requirements for armed officers.
• Possess California Guard Card and BSIS Firearm Permit.

• Experience in retail loss prevention or security preferred.
• Knowledge of citizen’s arrest, use of force, and detention.

Responsibilities

• Perform uniformed foot patrols to deter theft.
• Carry and operate a BSIS-approved firearm on duty.
• Follow five-step observation process before engaging a suspect.
• Detain suspects safely and recover merchandise per policy and law.
• Collaborate with store management, law enforcement, and security teams.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain records.
• Maintain professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
