Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring an Elite Armed Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol in San Antonio, TX. This part-time role offers the opportunity to patrol retail locations, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible presence.

You will conduct armed patrols, respond to incidents, monitor access points, and document activities in accordance with site procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years armed security experience.
• Valid Texas drivers license per policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Guard Card required in Texas.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail location, parking areas, and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior and incidents per site procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports while following laws and Allied Universal policies.
