Job summary

Allied Universal in Ridley Park, PA is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Readiness for a part-time role. You will perform armed patrols, deter incidents, and deliver customer service at an aerospace/defense site.

Minimum requirements include two years security experience, one year armed security or military experience, Act 235 qualification, and a HS diploma. Background checks and a drug screen are required. Flexible shifts and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Possess an Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and report concerns.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, coordinating with responders as directed.
• Prepare activity logs and incident reports with professional handling of sensitive information.
