Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver with a Corrections License for a government location in Miami, FL. You will perform armed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service to staff and the public.

The role requires 3+ years of security experience or a relevant degree, an armed guard license, a valid driver’s license, and active certification as a corrections officer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Armed guard card or license and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify entry, and report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and file detailed reports.
• Maintain armed post orders, licensing, training, and equipment standards while interacting with law enforcement and facility personnel.
