Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Patrol Security Officer in Wichita, KS. This full-time role involves customer service, armed patrols, access control, and incident response at an aerospace and defense location.

Requirements include 1 year of armed security or related experience, an Armed Guard Card, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Background checks and drug testing are part of employment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• Valid driver's license as per policy.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check under federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training participation.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state/local laws.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors and contractors per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, document activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and follow post orders and contact responders.
• Prepare clear reports of patrol activities, incidents and observations.
