Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS. This full-time role involves patrolling aerospace and defense facilities, maintaining a visible security presence, and delivering exceptional customer service.

A valid driver’s license, ability to use a computer or tablet, and compliance with background checks and drug screening are required. As part of a dynamic team, you will follow site procedures, report incidents, prepare logs, and support access control.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of aircraft-related facilities, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, documenting patrol findings, incidents, and security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting an aviation and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
