Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Wichita, KS to monitor and safeguard client sites, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service. This full-time role requires patrolling assigned areas, verifying access, and reporting security concerns with a professional, calm approach.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and a willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while documenting observations, incidents, and completed patrol activity.
