Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Goldsboro, NC to monitor a government location, provide customer service, and perform armed patrols across assigned areas. The role is full-time with a daytime schedule and requires strong integrity and communication skills.

Pay is $21.50 per hour; candidates must hold an armed guard card or license, have at least six months of armed security or related experience, and possess a valid drivers license.

Qualifications

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver7s license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and the public while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and document visitor and vehicle information.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally per post orders and escalation procedures.
• Maintain reports and operate security equipment per policies.
