Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver at a DoD site in Independence, MO. You will perform regular armed patrols, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to personnel and visitors.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or a college degree.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Valid driver’s license as per policy.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor location access by verifying credentials and logging incidents and traffic.
• Maintain proficiency with equipment and comply with laws, policies, and site procedures.
