Allied Universal in Saint Louis, MO seeks a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver to safeguard clients across various facilities. You will perform routine armed patrols, operate a vehicle, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns while delivering professional customer service and maintaining clear communication with the team.

The role requires an armed guard card, a valid driver’s license, CPR preferred, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of chemical and petrochemical facilities, including buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual conditions, restricted-area access concerns, and potential hazards, and promptly report observations through established channels.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
