Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time armed position in Atlanta, GA. The role offers fixed shifts with optional extra shifts via a scheduling platform to increase earnings.

It is designed for flexibility, income stability, and potential progression toward full-time hours, up to 40 hours weekly. The position requires at least 1 year of security experience, a valid armed license, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Armed Guard Card or License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry while maintaining awareness of visitors, vehicles, and personnel.
• Document patrol observations and security-related concerns accurately and communicate information to appropriate personnel.
