Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Patrol in Saint Louis, MO to protect client sites across industries including chemical and petrochemical. You will drive patrol routes, perform inspections, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible, friendly presence.

Qualified candidates will have at least one year security experience, a valid armed guard card, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Subject to background investigation.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting protocols.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific requirements.
