About the Role

Precision Security Team is hiring professional, reliable, and highly motivated Armed Mobile Patrol Guards to provide security services across multiple client locations.

Armed Mobile Patrol Guards spend much of their shift working independently in a company vehicle, traveling between assigned properties to conduct security checks, respond to alarms and incidents, identify safety and security concerns, and maintain a visible security presence.

This position requires safe and responsible driving, strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to make effective decisions independently. Guards must be comfortable responding to changing priorities and potentially high-stress situations while representing Precision Security Team and our clients with professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

Please Note: Precision Security Team provides security services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Schedule flexibility, dependable attendance, and punctuality are essential. Because driving is an essential function of this position, employees must maintain a valid driver's license and meet Precision Security Team's vehicle insurance requirements throughout employment in a driving-based assignment.

Conduct Mobile Patrols and Security Checks
  • Safely operate a company vehicle while traveling between assigned client locations.
  • Conduct routine, random, and targeted patrols of buildings, parking areas, grounds, access points, and other designated areas.
  • Perform property checks in accordance with client-specific post orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity, trespassing, vandalism, theft, and other unauthorized activity.
  • Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, property damage, unsecured areas, and other security concerns.
  • Adjust patrol priorities and routes based on operational needs, incidents, and supervisor direction.
Respond to Alarms, Incidents, and Emergencies
  • Respond promptly and safely to alarm activations, calls for service, disturbances, suspicious activity, and other security-related incidents.
  • Assess situations and determine an appropriate response using sound judgment and established procedures.
  • Apply de-escalation techniques and conflict-resolution skills when appropriate.
  • Contact and coordinate with law enforcement, fire/EMS, clients, supervisors, and other emergency personnel as necessary.
  • Secure scenes and protect people and property until additional assistance arrives when appropriate.
Perform Access Control and Property Security
  • Verify identities, credentials, and authorization when required.
  • Grant or deny access according to client policies and site-specific procedures.
  • Check doors, gates, windows, vehicles, and other designated areas for signs of unauthorized access or security concerns.
  • Maintain the integrity of restricted and secured areas.
Maintain Documentation and Communication
  • Complete accurate and timely patrol reports, incident reports, activity logs, and other required documentation.
  • Document unusual activity, hazards, property conditions, and actions taken during the shift.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, supervisors, other guards, clients, and emergency personnel.
  • Utilize smartphones, reporting software, scheduling platforms, Microsoft Office applications, CCTV systems, and other security technology as required.
Maintain Vehicle, Firearm, and Equipment Readiness
  • Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
  • Conduct required vehicle and equipment checks and promptly report damage, mechanical concerns, or safety issues.
  • Safely carry, operate, and maintain firearms, handcuffs, and other assigned equipment in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
  • Maintain all required firearms qualifications, certifications, and training standards.
  • Maintain accountability for company-issued vehicles, keys, equipment, and other property.
Protect Confidential Information
  • Safeguard confidential and proprietary information regarding clients, properties, security procedures, access information, technology, and business operations.
  • Exercise discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Precision Security Team to meet operational and client needs.
Who You Are
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to professional security service.
  • Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions without constant supervision.
  • Calm, confident, and professional when responding to unexpected or high-pressure situations.
  • Highly observant with strong situational awareness.
  • A safe, responsible, and defensive driver.
  • Able to prioritize multiple assignments and adapt when operational needs change.
