Job summary

Cascadia Global Security is seeking an Armed Security Guard in Seguin, TX. The full-time position requires a valid Armed Texas guard license, firearm/armor readiness, and the ability to pass health screenings and a DMV background check.

You will patrol client sites, deter threats, and maintain safety while documenting daily activities. Candidates must be 21 or older, possess a driver’s license, and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Active Armed Texas security guard license required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to write reports.
• Available for mornings, swing shifts, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to pass criminal background check.
• Must handle stressful situations and emergencies.
• Candidate should already own a duty firearm, holster, and external carrier/body armor.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and report safety and maintenance issues endangering clients or public safety.
• Conduct foot patrols to maintain visibility and deter unauthorized activity.
• Deterrence of theft and vandalism on client facilities.
• Ensure a safe and professional work environment for client personnel.
• Keep daily administrative documentation concise and complete.
• Maintain uniform and grooming standards while in uniform.

• Employment type: Full-time
• Shift times:
  • Monday - Friday -2200-0600
• $20.00per hour
• Daily pay; get paid as soon as the NEXT DAY!

This position requires the use of a company vehicle. All applicants must have a valid Driver's License and be able to pass a DMV background check. Additional screenings include a 10-panel drug screening, and vaccinations are required.

Armed Security Guard Responsibilities:

• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
• Patrols are assigned on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activities at client facilities
• Theft and vandalism visual deterrent
• Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete
• Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained while in uniform

• Minimum 21 years of age
• An active Armed Guard Card is required
• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience
• Available to work morning, swing shift or nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

• Employee Health Requirement:

1. Immunization Records
2. MMR(2 doses or evidence of immunity
3. Varicella (2 doses, evidence of immunity or disease)
4. Hepatitis B Vaccine ( 3 doses or evidence of immunity)
5. Fit Test/ Questionnaire (3m N95 1870= mask only)
6. Tdap ( 1 dose as an adult or child)
7. T- Spot or QFT
8. Influenza Vaccine (applicable Sep. to March)
9. Pre-Employment Drug Screen (10-panel- results or attestation letter)
10. COVID-19 vaccine documentation if you have had the vaccine and/or boosters.

Pay and Benefits:

• $20.00per hour

Experience

• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Security: 1 year armed (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
