Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, has an opening for a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Credentialed in El Paso, TX. You will protect clients, conduct routine armed patrols, respond to incidents, and provide professional customer service.

Ideal candidates will have a law enforcement or military background, a college degree, and at least 2 years of related experience, plus required credentials.

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Credentialed in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, law enforcement personnel, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a government law enforcement location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following post orders and applicable procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry into restricted areas; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and/or hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and maintain professional communication with site contacts and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess a college degree.
• Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
