Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer (Full Time Elite Patrol) in Plano, TX. You will protect clients across industries, perform armed patrols in retail areas and parking lots, and respond to incidents with professionalism while maintaining clear communication and a welcoming environment.

This role requires Level III Armed Certification in Texas, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Have 3+ years of related security or military experience or 5+ years armed security experience.
• Hold Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years old and pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following site procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain incident reports and patrol logs, coordinating with leadership and responders as needed.

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

• Tue: 10:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 04:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while coordinating with Allied Universal leadership and local responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
