Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Front Office in Jacksonville, FL. The role offers flexible fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to earn more, at a pay rate of $21.70 per hour.

Responsibilities include front desk duties, access control, incident response, visitor screening, and directing inquiries. Minimum requirements cover a Certified Protection Officer certification and an armed guard card or license.

Qualifications

• Certified Protection Officer certification is required.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• 4+ years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, visitors, faculty, and staff at site.
• Monitor the front desk area, greet and screen visitors, verify credentials, issue passes, document visits and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Answer calls, give directions, and route inquiries to appropriate departments.
• Deter unauthorized access by observing entry points and reporting suspicious activity.
