Job summary

Allied Universal in Tempe, AZ is hiring an Armed Custom Protection Officer - Flex Guard to join our security team. You will perform patrols on foot or in vehicle, monitor for irregular conditions and respond to alarms, while representing a professional, customer‑facing presence.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in law enforcement or military police, are 21+ and possess an Arizona guard card. You should be able to work outside and endure long periods of standing.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Arizona guard card required.
• 2+ years’ experience in law enforcement, military police, corrections, or related field.
• Be able to walk/stand for long periods and work outside in the elements.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions and security risks.
• Sound alarms or summon police/fire department when needed.
• Control entry points and monitor entrances/exits.
• Prepare and maintain incident reports and logs.
• Assist customers, employees and visitors professionally.
