Job summary

Adc Ltd. is seeking an FAA Level III Armed Security Officer to safeguard FAA facilities and personnel. You will manage access control, conduct screenings, patrol, and respond to emergencies while maintaining strict adherence to post orders and FAA security protocols.

Responsibilities include enforcing facility rules, processing visitors, operating surveillance equipment, and preparing incident reports. This role requires physical stamina and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Minimum Education - High School Diploma from a duly accredited institution or a State Issued GED.
• Minimum Experience – must meet one or more security experience requirements as listed.
• Must possess CPR, First Aid, AED Certification.
• Must possess Non-Lethal and Defensive Tactics Certifications.
• Must possess and maintain firearm qualification certification with ADC weapon.
• Must pass a pre-employment suitability investigation.
• Must obtain FAA PIV badge after background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical security and safeguard FAA employees and assets.
• Control access of personnel and vehicles.
• Screen Visitors, Vehicles, Mail/Parcels and items.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations.
• Issue visitor passes and temporary badges.
• Conduct roving patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter.
• Investigate incidents and report promptly.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies.
• Monitor video surveillance and analyze activity.
• Conduct building and vehicle inspections.
• Direct traffic, parking, and pedestrians.
• Open/close gates and buildings.
• Manage keys and access cards; maintain records.
• Maintain communications with security team and managers.
• Complete incident and daily activity reports.
