Job summary

ADC LTD NM is seeking a vigilant FAA Level III Armed Security Officer to safeguard FAA employees, facilities, and government assets. You will manage access control, screening, and incident response while coordinating with Site Captain and security teams.

The role requires patrolling, reporting, and enforcing post orders, with duties including badge issuance, video monitoring, and emergency response. A strong emphasis on safety and protocol adherence is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Three years of security experience or equivalent FAA certification/experience.

Responsibilities

• Control access of personnel and vehicles per Facility Post Orders.
• Screen visitors, vehicles, mail, and hand-carried items via inspection or x-ray per Post Orders.
• Enforce facility rules and issue visitor badges as required.
• Conduct roving patrols of buildings, grounds and perimeter.
• Investigate incidents and respond to alarms per Post Orders.
• Monitor video surveillance and perform building/vehicle inspections.
• Direct traffic and manage gate openings per Post Orders.
• Maintain and account for keys and access control devices.
• Complete incident and daily activity reports.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
